LIBRARY NEWS:

In these hard economic times, it is hard to get enough help to run the Library efficiently.  We have a certain workload to keep up with in order to process the new materials.  But, with the fact that so many more are working (even after retirement days have started) & young mothers are “tied down” with parental activities, we are seriously suffering a volunteer shortage.  We need help not only with processing new materials, but doing displays, bulletin boards, bookkeeping, repairs, memorials, & endless other tasks.
If you have Wednesday mornings (all…or even a couple a month), we really could use your help!!!   Please contact Gayle at extension 216 or come by and see if your talents coincide with our needs.  Requirements: fairly good eyesight, alphabetic knowledge, able to count, good sense of humor (we don’t put up with depressing folks around here!!!, and a general willingness to help out where needed).
Prayerfully consider this new field of service.  We really enjoy being around our beautiful library!  We know you will, too!
