Roma Lea Richardson, the fifth child of Thomas and Annie Richardson was born in 1915 at Montague, Texas with Dr. Johnson the attending physician. Roma attended Nocona and Valley View Schools, graduating in 1935. Roma married Ronald Gerald Hill on October 11, 1935. L. E. Rambo, minister of the First Baptist Church, Nocona, Texas officiated at their wedding. Ronald Gerald Hill is the eldest son of Erskin and Helen Hill. Ronald was born September 25, 1911 at Spanish Fort, Texas. He attended the Spanish Fort school. Roma and Ronald Hill moved to Nocona after their married and Ronald worked in the oil fields and later owned a service station. Roma was the office clerk for Lone Star Gas Company in Nocona, Texas for over twenty-six years. Ronald and Roma Hill retired in December 1984 and moved to Portland, Texas near Corpus Christi, to be near their daughter. They celebrated their 50th in 1985 at a celebration at the Nocona Farmers and Merchants National Bank Community Center.
Roma and Ronald Hill had two children, Brenda and Ronnie. Brenda Gayle Hill was born November 30, 1940 at the home of Rose and Sam Jones in Nocona. the birth was attended by Dr. Kilber. Ronnie Lynn Hill was born August 30, 1950 at the Major Clinic Hospital with Dr. John Major attending. Brenda and Ronnie both attended the Nocona Schools for 12 years. They each attended Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Brenda graduated form Wichita General Hospital School of Nursing in 1962 with a diploma in nursing. Ronnie graduated from Midwestern University with a BA in business.
Sheryl Lyn Van Zandt married James Michael Sutton of Corpus Christi, Texas on July 25, 1981. They have a son, Darren Michael Sutton born August 16, 1985.
Ronnie Lynn Hill married Joan Tompkins on January 10, 1972. Joan is the daughter of A. G. "Red" and Mabel Tompkins of Montague, Texas. Ronnie and Joan have two sons, Ron Jr. and Eric. Ronnie Lynn Hill Jr. was born October 19, 1956 and Eric Lee was born November 25, 1979.
